-bermudas and long pants acceptable (anything knee length or longer)




AUDITION DATES: (this is for all who wish to join SDZ this year, 2009)
[TAKE NOTE: You are not required to go for all the auditions, you only need to go for the audition for the subgroup that you are interested in. Eg. If you are interested in joining Modern, you can just go for the Modern auditions]

FREESTYLE

For HIP HOP Audition

It is a MUST to do freestyle during the audition. (unless the judges say no need)

The music used will be smooth sailin
For those who want to use their own song, i'm sorry it is not possible.

QnA:

Q: How Long is the freestyle?
A: depend on you...short or long also can

Q: Groups or Individual?
A: Individual

Q: Can i dance any style?
A: yes, you can.

Q: Can i dance other genre?
A: yes, but best is hip hop!! <3

Q: How about those who dont have dance background?
A: They still have to freestyle. Freestyle is important for us to judge for musicality and groove, whether or not you know how to listen to the music (the different layers of the music), to know your style, etc. Surely when u listen to music u will start to move your body rite? so don worry =)
