audition session for CAMP juniors

These two sessions are STRICTLY for freshies who went for the CAMP!!!!! (HIP HOP)

Sessions will be held on two days:

This coming WEDNESDAY (3/6)

Time: 4pm onwards
Venue: FC 4 studio

AND

FRIDAY (5/6)

Time: 5pm onwards
VENUE CHANGE TO DANCE@MOBERLY

Due to the lack of space in the studio, you can only choose ONE day to come.
Please remember to put on proper attire for sessions=)

Dance Camp

Hello people!

I'm sure all of you have alot of questions to ask.
Dance Camp is 29th - 31st May, this coming Friday til Sunday.
Report at Multipurpose Hall, 7pm on 29th May.
Multipurpose Hall is located at 3rd level of SAA building, near Sports Hall.
Remember to bring along your camp receipts when you report.
Camp will end at about 6pm on 31st May.


In case you've misplaced your packlist,

3 sets of clothing
1 pair of pyjamas (compulsory)
1 dark color shirt (for wet activities)
At least 3 sets of undergarments
Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste...etc.)
Towel
Comfortable shoes
Slippers
Water bottle
Personal medication (if needed)
Sleeping bag


Note: Please bring proper attire for dance sessions. Especially for hiphop and bboy session, strictly no shorts above knees, and bring SHOES.
& please bring along your cute pyjamas for our Pyjamas Party. (:

FREESTYLE

For HIP HOP Audition

It is a MUST to do freestyle during the audition. (unless the judges say no need)

The music used will be smooth sailin
For those who want to use their own song, i'm sorry it is not possible.

QnA:

Q: How Long is the freestyle?
A: depend on you...short or long also can

Q: Groups or Individual?
A: Individual

Q: Can i dance any style?
A: yes, you can.

Q: Can i dance other genre?
A: yes, but best is hip hop!! <3

Q: How about those who dont have dance background?
A: They still have to freestyle. Freestyle is important for us to judge for musicality and groove, whether or not you know how to listen to the music (the different layers of the music), to know your style, etc. Surely when u listen to music u will start to move your body rite? so don worry =)

-take note that all our sessions are not compulsory for all, but for those who want to clean up the audition routine taught in clinic. Also, for those who are unsure, you WILL be required to do freestyle for Hip Hop after the audition piece. Freestyle for Bboy audition is optional.

Remember to submit your names ASAP to the respective people!

[Those who paid $15 is for the camp, and yes you will get to learn the audition piece in the camp. The sessions i mentioned above and the Bboy clinic is only open for those who paid the $10 for the Clinics.]
